Outdoor (Sr.): An All-BIG EAST selection in the shot put … Competed in eight meets … Took first in the hammer throw at the Marquette Invitational (Apr. 10) with a mark of 51.44 meters/168 feet, 9 inches … Threw a PR of 43.29 meters/142 feet at the Pacific Coast Invitational (Apr. 14) in the discus … Recorded a PR and the No. 10 mark in school history in the hammer throw at the Wisconsin Classic (May 6) with a mark of 53.12 meets/174 feet, 3 inches … Earned the silver medal in the shot put at the BIG EAST Championships (May 13) with a throw of 13.90 meters/45 feet, 7.25 inches.

Indoor (Sr.): Competed in pair of meets in shot put and weight throw … Posted season-best distances in both events at the BIG EAST Triangular (Feb. 26.).

Indoor (Jr.): Competed in seven indoor meets during her junior year ... Placed fifth at the Blue & Gold Invitational (Dec. 6) in the weight throw with a distance of 16.32 m/53-6.5 ft ... Won both the shot put and the weight throw at the John Tierney Classic (Jan. 18) ... Claimed eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 16.64m/54-7.25ft and took fifth in the shot put with a distance of 13.76m/45-1.25ft at the Notre Dame Invitational (Jan. 25) ... Claimed first place in the shot put at the Wisconsin-Parkside Fall Finale (13.71 m/43-2.5 ft), John Tierney Classic (13.02 m/42-8.75 ft) and Parkside Classic (13.56 m/44-6 ft)... Set a personal record in the shot put at the Badger Red & White Classic on Feb. 15 (14.03 m/46-0.5 ft)... Achieved a new personal best in the weight throw at the BIG EAST Championships on the way to a bronze medal (17.81 m/58-5.25 ft)... Claimed bronze in the shot put at the BIG EAST Championships (13.92 m/45-8 ft).
Outdoor (So.): Competed in nine meets during her sophomore outdoor season... Set a new personal best in the discus as the Marquette Invitational on April 5 on the way to silver medal honors (42.36 m/139-0 ft)... Claimed gold in the shot put at both the South Florida Invitational and Marquette Mid-Week Challenge... Took sixth place in the hammer throw at the BIG EAST Championships after posting a career-best distance of 47.92 m/155-7 ft... Took seventh in the shot put (12.4 m/40-8.25 ft) and 10th in the discus (35.9 m/117-9 ft) at the BIG EAST Championships.

Indoor (Fr.): Competed in five indoor events in her freshman season ... Finished in seventh place in the weight throw (15.26 m/ 50-0.75 ft) and tenth in the shot put (11.66 m/ 38-3.25 ft) ... Won first in the shot put with a 12.72 meter/ 41-8.75 feet throw in the UW-Parkside Classic.
Outdoor (Fr.): Claimed bronze in the shot put (13.46 m/ 44-2 ft) and seventh in both the discus (36.09 m/ 118-5 ft) and hammer throw (45.59 m/ 149-7 ft) at the BIG EAST Championships ... Placed fifth in the shot put for a 12.89 meter/ 42-3.5 feet throw at the UW-Whitewater Alternative meet ... Finished fourth after a 12.68 meter/ 41-7.25 shot put effort at the Illinois Twilight.
Prior to Marquette: Lettered in track at Magnificat High School, where she competed in shot put, discus and weight throw ... Was an indoor state qualifier and outdoor regional qualifier as a senior in 2017 ... Helped the Blue Streaks to a district championship in 2016.
Personal: Flando was born in Cleveland, Ohio and is the daughter of Andy and Michelle Flando ... Has one sister, Molly, and one brother, Andrew ... Plans to major in biomedical engineering.
