Jim is in his 29th year at Marquette University in the role of retail merchandiser and director of collegiate licensing. In his role, Jim is responsible for the retail operations of the athletic department and has the task of developing the Marquette brand through managing MU's licensing program. Jim is also director of the Marquette Spirit Shop and its outreach programs.

Prior to MU, Jim worked with Boston Store, Gimbels and Kohls Department Stores in various management and buying positions. Jim earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
