Meryl Franke is in her 15th year at Marquette University as a Learning Specialist in 2017-18. In her role, Meryl provides student-athletes with strategies and skills needed to achieve academic success. She also works closely with tutors to facilitate academic support.
Prior to MU, Meryl taught in the Menomonee Falls (Wis.) School District. She earned a Bachelor of Science in education from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Science in education from Cardinal Stritch University.
Meryl resides in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin with her husband, Wayne. They have two daughters, Beth (Kimmel) and Sara, and two grandchildren, Victoria and Chase.
