Marquette's Valley Fields offer 13.5-acres of outdoor recreation and sports in the Menomonee River Valley, about 800 yards south of the Helfaer Tennis Stadium and Marquette Gym. It has served as the home to Golden Eagles soccer programs since 1993. The complex includes a natural grass soccer stadium and a newly added FieldTurf facility constructed just east of the soccer stadium, giving the men's and women's soccer teams the benefit of practicing on campus adjacent to the playing surface. The installation of the FieldTurf surface was completed prior to the 2006 season and new natural grass was installed during the summer of 2013.  Klein Family/KBS Soccer Pavilion Located on the east side of the soccer stadium bleachers, the building provides easy access to the the soccer venue and the teams' artificial turf practice field. The facility's faÃÆ'§ade matches the other existing structures at Valley Fields. The pavilion was designed by Korb Tredo Achitects and was constructed by KBS Construction. The total budgeted cost for the pavilion was $1.2 million. Melvin "Bus" Shimek Memorial Track & Field Facility It includes an eight-lane, 400-meter running track that was resurfaced in 2005. The track surrounds an artificial turf field and an area for field track and field events as well as Marquette women's lacrosse home games.
