Hamilton entered Marquette with three years of NCAA eligibility remaining after two seasons (2020-21 and 2021) at the University of Notre Dame. The 2020-21 campaign was a free year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to Marquette (two seasons at Notre Dame): Hamilton played two seasons at the University of Notre Dame, totaling 511 kills (2.94 per set), 13 service aces, 136 digs (0.78/s) and 81 blocks (0.28/s) in 47 matches (174 sets) … ACC All-Freshman Team honors in 2020-21 and was the squad’s kill (316 – 3.07/s) and point leader in the fall of 2021 … Had a career-high 20 kills on .375 hitting at Georgia Tech on Oct. 1, 2021.

Arrowhead H.S.: During a standout prep career at Arrowhead High School, Hamilton led the Warhawks to their first state championship as a senior in 2019 on her way to Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year honors … During her senior season she also garnered Under Armour Third Team All-America recognition and was the No. 34 recruit in the country according to PrepVolleyball.com … A three-time first team all-state selection at Arrowhead and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Player of the Year as a senior … Three-time All-Classic 8 Conference First Team … Classic 8 Player of the Year as a sophomore and senior … Hamilton joins three Under Armour All-Americans on the MU roster in Jenna Reitsma (2020, third team), Ella Foti (2020, honorable mention) and Hannah Vanden Berg (2018, honorable mention) … Played club volleyball for the Milwaukee Sting.

Personal: Hamilton is the daughter of Heidi Bunek-Hamilton and Duane Hamilton … Has an older brother, Alec … Her mother, formerly Heidi Bunek, was a four-time state champion and two-time all-American in girls’ basketball at Milwaukee Pius and a member of the Wisconsin Basketball Hall of Fame … Mother played collegiately at Notre Dame (1985-89) and is in the top-10 in scoring and rebounding average all-time with the Irish ... Hamilton is an education and psychology major at Marquette.
