Morris helped lead the Golden Eagles sprinters to an extremely successful year in 2020, helping student-athletes achieve six top-10 all-time marks, three freshmen records and two school records during the 2019-20 indoor season.
Freshman sprinter Julian Wright finished as the runner-up at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships in the men's 200m with a time of 21.78, which is the No. 2 mark all-time in program history. Wright also set the No. 2 mark all-time in the 400m in program history (48.24).
Samuel Johnson (6.80), Julian Wright (6.82) and Zachariah Murray (6.86) set the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 marks all-time at MU in the 60-meter dash in 2020. Murray also set the school record in the 400m with a time of 47.98.
On the women's side, he helped guide Arianna Mansavage to an excellent sophomore season as she set the No. 4 mark all-time in the 400m (55.96) and twice was named a BIG EAST Notable Performer in its weekly awards.
