Walker began her coaching careerĀ at Marquette in the fall of 2018. She competed for MU in the shot put, discus, weight throw and hammer throw from 2010-14.
A multiple-time BIG EAST Championships qualifier, she took 12th at the BIG EAST Outdoor ChampionshipsĀ (41-8/12.70 meters) and 13th at the BIG EAST Indoor ChampionshipsĀ (42-0.5/12.81 meters) in the shot put in 2013.
A nursing major at MU, Walker graduated in 2014 and now works in the Surgical ICU at Aurora St. Luke's.
Originally from McFarland, Wisconsin, sheĀ now lives in Milwaukee with her dog Hooper.
