Prior to Marquette: Deelo earned three varsity letters at Cor Jesu Academy. As a senior she was named Cor Jesu Academy MVP, while also garnering All-Metro and All-Region recognition. Led Cor Jesu to a second place finish at the Class 4A State Championship as a senior in 2007, while she recorded 312 kills and 453 digs on the season. Described by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as the 'heart and soul' of her Cor Jesu Academy squad.

Personal: Deelo was born in St. Louis, Mo. She is the youngest of three children born to Mike and Joan Deelo. Her sister, Ann, played volleyball at Loyola University (Ill.) where she set the all-time digs record as an All-Conference performer in the Horizon League. Deelo[apos]s mother played collegiately at St. Louis University. Deelo is planning to major in accounting or finance.
