The 2020-21 season will mark the first year Viviano will be on staff as a student assistant coach under Meredith Black.
She played for the Marquette women's lacrosse team from 2016-20 and served as the team's captain for the 2020 season. Viviano appeared in 40 games throughout her career as a Golden Eagle, starting in 26 of them. She returned from a 2019 knee injury and started in all 10 games on defense last year, causing seven turnovers, picking up two ground balls and providing valuable leadership to the defensive unit.
A 2019 graduate in finance from MU, Viviano began her master's degree in management during the 2019-20 academic year. She'll continue taking graduate classes as she works with the team in 2020-21.
The West Islip, N.Y. native was a two-time BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection during her playing career at MU.
