Adam Campbell was elevated from volunteer assistant coach to technical coordinator in the summer of 2023.
During his first season in 2022, Campbell was an integral part of a coaching staff that led MU to program records for overall (29) and conference (17) victories, as well as the team’s third conference title and second Sweet 16 trip.
Campbell joins MU from the Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club, where he served as the assistant boys program director and summer camp director this spring. Prior to that he was the technical director for setting and volleyball coach with Platform Elite Volleyball Club since the fall of 2020. In addition to his most recent role with Sting, Campbell served as a summer camp coach with the organization from 2015-21.
Campbell graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa in May of 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in English education and earned a master’s in organizational leadership in the spring of 2022. He was a member of Phi Eta Sigma at St. Ambrose and played on the varsity men’s volleyball team. During his playing career he also assisted the junior varsity and varsity women’s team at St. Ambrose from 2016-22.
He is a native of New Berlin, Wisconsin and graduated from New Berlin Eisenhower High School in 2016.
