James Sackley enters his first season as a volutneer assistant coach with the Marquette University women's volleyball program in 2014-15.
Sackley, a 2012 recipient of the AVCA's Thirty Under 30 Award, has spent the last nine years coaching the Sky High Volleyball Club in suburban Chicago.
The native of Mundelein, Illinois led Sky High to AAU national championships in 2010 and 2011 with his 16 Black and 17 Black teams, respectively. He also helped Sky High 18 Black to a runner-up finish at the 2012 USAV Girls' Junior National Championships. He also coached from 2007-08 at Assumption High School in Davenport, Iowa.
Sackley graduated in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in sports management from Ashford University.
