Dominic James (2005-09) compiled one of the best freshman seasons in Marquette men's basketball history, earning BIG EAST Rookie of the Year honors in 2005-06 and displaying a dynamic athleticism that quickly endeared him to Marquette fans. James played alongside fellow M Club Hall of Fame members Steven Novak and Jerel McNeal during that first year of BIG EAST play and was an All-BIG EAST First Team selection and Associated Press All-American as a sophomore. He still ranks among MU's all-time leaders in points, assists, steals and wins.
