WHAT ARE PRIORITY POINTS?
Priority Points are used to determine seat selection order during annual reseating and upgrade opportunities. Your ranking directly affects your ability to select preferred seating locations. Our next full reseat will take place prior to the 2027-28 season, and Priority Point rankings will determine individual selection times.
HOW TO EARN PRIORITY POINTS
There are several ways to build your Priority Point total:
- Marquette Alumni Status
- 1st Degree: 10 points
- 2nd Degree: 5 points
- 3rd Degree: 2 points
- Letterwinner
- 10 points
- Season Ticket Loyalty
- Earn 2 points for each consecutive year as a season ticket holder.
- Points reset if the consecutive streak is broken.
- Earn 1 Point for each consecutive year as a season ticket holder for Women’s Basketball and/or Volleyball.
- Consecutive Annual Giving ($100+) to Marquette Athletics
- Contributions must be received by the end of each fiscal year (June 30th).
- Points reset if the consecutive streak is broken (seat contribution is included).
- Athletics Contributions
- Earn 1 point for every $100 donated to any Marquette Athletics fund.
- University Contributions (non-athletic)
- Earn 1 point for every $250 donated to any non-athletic fund at Marquette University.
- You must contact Marquette University Advancement (uagiftservices@marquette.edu) if you elect to accept priority points on a non-athletic contribution.
- Bonus Points
- Season ticket holders may receive bonus points through various initiatives from Marquette Athletics, such as annual renewals, bonus points pledge initiatives and more.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- All season ticket holders will have the opportunity to renew their current seats for the 26-27 Season.
- The fiscal year deadline for priority points is June 30.
- Hospitality-related upgrades (excluding seat donations) may qualify for either Priority Points or tax benefits, but not both.
- According to current tax law, scholarship seat contributions and other donations that result in the receipt of priority points are not tax-deductible.
- Note that if you choose to forego priority points on any gifts that are not related to the purchase of season tickets, your contribution may be fully deductible. If you elect this option, you must decline to receive points in writing. Again, please consult with your tax advisor for guidance.
- Points and season ticket accounts may not be transferred from one person to another or from one account to another. If you have questions about your priority points totals, please contact athleticsdevelopment@marquette.edu.

- We encourage you to review your current Priority Point standing and consider opportunities to enhance your position ahead of future reseating.
