Wesley Matthews (2006-09) ranks among Marquette’s top-10 in five career categories, including scoring (10^th, 1,673 points). He helped the Golden Eagles to 94 wins (ninth-most in program history), four NCAA tournament appearances and was named All-BIG EAST Second Team as a senior. One of the top free throw shooters at Marquette, he ranks second in both free throws made (549) and attempted (687). Matthews’ 14-year NBA career continues with the Atlanta Hawks in 2023-24 and he has scored more than 11,000 career points, third most of any MU player. His 950 career appearances are the fourth-most in NBA history by an undrafted player (prior to 2023-24 season).
