*In 1954-55 Rube Schulz became the first Marquette player to reach the 500-rebound mark. Russ Wittberger and Terry Rand also eclipsed the 500-rebound mark that season. In fact, all three of the players recorded their 500th rebound in a span of 16 days - Schulz against Louisville (Jan. 12); Wittberger versus Loyola (La.) on Jan. 27; and Rand the following night (Jan. 28) at Loyola (La.).
*Trevor Powell is the only Marquette player to lead his teams in rebounding four straight seasons.
*Bob Wolf was the first Marquette player taken in a professional draft. He was chosen in the fifth round by New York of the ABA and was taken in the seventh round by Chicago of the NBA.
*The Golden Eagles were 16-0 at home in 1995-96. It marked the 10th time in school history, and first since 1977-78, that Marquette posted a perfect record on its home court.
