FS1 features the national television broadcast, with Jack Kizer (play-by-play) and Phil Martelli (analyst) calling the action. Â
Series With DePaul Spans Program History
  Â
Marquette's all-time series with DePaul dates back to the 1917-18 season (second year of MU's varsity history) and includes 138 previous meetings, the highest total against any single opponent in team history.
  Â
The Golden Eagles own an 87-51 advantage in the series and the extensive matchup history has been aided by the fact the two programs have been in the same league dating back to the 1991-92 campaign. Â Since that season, the teams have shared affiliation in the Great Midwest Conference, Conference USA and BIG EAST.
  Â
DePaul claimed the first matchup this season, an 80-75 win at Wintrust Arena on Jan. 16. Â Nigel James Jr. led four players in double figures with 18 points.
Markus Howard To Have Jersey Retired
  Â
Former guard Markus Howard will be recognized with a jersey retirement at Fiserv Forum during a halftime ceremony against DePaul.
  Â
MARKUS HOWARD MARQUETTE CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
  Â
Former all-time leading scorer Jerel McNeal had his jersey added to the rafters on Nov. 15 and former head coach Tom Crean joined the group on Feb. 7.
James Jr. One Of BIG EAST's Top Performers
  Â
A three-time BIG EAST Freshman of the Week and BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection (including Feb. 22), guard Nigel James Jr. is proving to be one of the league's top players, regardless of class.
  Â
The BIG EAST Freshman of the Year candidate has reached double figures in scoring in 16-of-17 league outings and ranks among the conference's top-10 in five-different categories (season long and BIG EAST only).
  Â
JAMES JR.'S SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
  Â
Playing in his 134th career game, the fifth most in school history, senior forward Ben Gold finally collected his first-career double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds) in Tuesday's win over Georgetown.
  Â
The Wellington, New Zealand native narrowly missed the accomplishment earlier this season, eluding a double-double by just one rebound against Southern and Little Rock. Â He's ranked among the league leaders in rebounding (11th, 5.9 rpg.) and against Georgetown he finished 4-of-8 from the field, grabbed four of his boards at the offensive end and also chipped in three assists and a steal in 35 minutes of action.
  Â
Gold has a chance to reach former teammate David Joplin's (2021-25) career games played total of 139, which he set last season.
Owens Makes Most Of First-Career Start
  Â
Inserted into the starting lineup 30 minutes before the opening tip at Georgetown Tuesday night after Royce Parham was forced to miss the game with back tightness, sophomore Damarius Owens made the most of the opportunity.
  Â
The Rochester, N.Y. native made his first-career start in his 56th overall appearance and concluded the night with 11 points, two rebounds, an assist, a blocked shot and a steal in a personal-best 34 minutes on the court (previous high was 27 minutes, most recently at DePaul on Jan. 16).
