The Helfaer Tennis and Recreation Center is a $2 million student recreation facility that occupies a three-acre site north of West Clyborn Street between North 16th Street and North 17th Street. The Center was planned for student recreation and intramural use. It includes:

TENNIS COURTS
Six regulation tennis courts with sport-tred surface, dividing nets, indirect lighting and air conditioning.
MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM
Five basketball courts, 20 side backboards, badminton and volleyball courts and a jogging surface.
SWIMMING POOL
NCAA-size, one-and three-meter diving boards, scoreboard, timer, racing platforms, water polo nets and water basketball nets.
FITNESS/WEIGHT ROOM

A state-of-the-art exercise facility that was recently renovated. Includes: trotter and Cybex weight machines, free weights, stairclimbers, rowers, bikes and treadmills.
