Men's Cross Country Takes 24th At Roy Griak Invitational

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The Marquette men's cross country team met stiff competition in the Roy Griak Invitational and took 24th place out of 28 teams. Wisconsin won the team title with 86 points. They were followed by Brigham Young (133 points) and Northern Arizona (143 points). The Golden Eagles tallied 670 points in their second race of the season.
Junior Matt Dunlavy led the way for Marquette, taking 96th place with a time of 26:10. Junior Joe Herington added a 125th place finish with a time of 26:25, and sophomore David Lance placed 143rd with a 26:41 finish. Oregon?s Steve Fein captured the individual title with a time of 24:13.
