Postseason Awards Handed Out To Women's Cross-Country Team

Milwaukee- The Marquette University women's cross country team announced its postseason team awards at MU's annual All-Sports Banquet held on April 26. Sophomore Jessica Swan and freshman Susan Barth were named the team's Most Valuable Players.
Barth finished second (17.28) in the Conference USA Championship held at Charlotte, N.C. on Oct. 30. She also was named Conference USA Freshman of the Year and to the All-Conference team. Barth finished second in the Murray Keatinge Invitational on Oct. 9 in Orono, Maine. She finished 26th (17.61.10) in a field of 77 runners in the NCAA Great Lakes Region Championship held at Terre Haute, Ind., on Nov. 13.
Swan was named All-Conference this season. She finished 14th (17.58.08)out of 77 runners in the Conference USA Championship. Swan took fourth (18.14.01) in the Murray Keatinge Invitational and 30th(18.00.60) in the NCAA Great Lakes Region Championship.
