Men's Track Team Does Well at Minnesota Classic

The Marquette men's track team finished well at the Minnesota Classic today.
The team ran against teams from Minnesota, Iowa and Texas Arlington.
Senior Luke Kunze finished first in the mile run, setting a team season-best time of 4:13.80. Freshman Ryan Jacobson and senior Eric Sanchez also finished well in the mile. In the 60-meter hurdles, sophomore Nic Wucherer finished second and tied the old meet record with a time of 8.21. In the long jump, senior Quincy Maggit finished third with a jump of 21-10.75, followed by junior Nick Newton.
The team is back in action Saturday, Feb. 3, running against the University of Illinois.
