The Golden Eagles dropped a tough match to Bowling Green on Friday night. The match proved to be one of the most competitive for the Golden Eagles this season.
Freshman Raj Gill had probably the longest night of the entire team. First playing in the No. 1 doubles match with partner Peter Mojzis, Gill was forced to a tiebreaker and the duo ended up losing 9-7.
On the singles side, Gill dropped the first set of his match before coming back to win the next two, both by the score of 6-3.
Mojzis also was sucsessful in his singles match after losing in doubles. A tough second set up a deciding third set in which Mojzis dominated 6-1.
The Golden Eagles will next be in action to open their Conference USA season on Friday, Feb. 23 at home.
