Men's Tennis Wins Fourth Straight

MILWAUKEE - Marquette won its fourth straight men's tennis match and improved to 9-4 by defeating Northern Iowa, 4-3, at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
Marquette won the doubles point and followed up with three singles wins to earn the decision. Marquette proved strong again at the no. 1 and 2 singles spots led by victories from Peter Mojzis and Bart Cordemeijer respectively.
Brian Verban and Kent Davies also picked up singles wins for MU as did the tandems of Cordemeijer/Verban and Davies/Justin Holsen in doubles.
Marquette returns to action on Saturday, March 24 at 9 a.m. against Memphis and continues its play in Memphis with a neutral site match on March 25 against Texas-Pan American.
