Women's Track Team On Their Way to Louisville

The Marquette women's track team is headed down south this weekend for a showdown with Conference USA-rival Louisville and Eastern Kentucky.
The day-long meet takes place at Cardinal Park in Louisville.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a strong performance at the Purdue Open last weekend. Junior Jennifer Batie won first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.50. She also took second place in the 200-meter dash (25.36). Her twin sister, junior Jeannette Batie, tied for third in the 100-meter hurdles (14.72) and won second place in the 400-meter hurdles.
Junior Bethany Harry set a personal best and finished first in the 5,000-meter run. Sophomore Susan Barth also set a personal best and finished first in the 10,000-meter run, setting a meet record with a time of 35:30.48.
