MADISON, Wis. -- Marquette had three entrants in the main draw at the ITM/Omni Hotels Midwest Region Championships in Madison. Eigintas Vedrickas was entered in singles and the tandems of Vedrickas and Ian Kawas along with Kent Davies and Creighton Macy were in doubles.
Vedrickas lost his first round match to Michael Calkins of Illinois, 6-0, 6-0.
Teaming with Kawas, the pair fell to Mike Findling and Tom Dennis of Western Michigan, 8-2. Davies and Macy also lost their first round match, 9-8, to Jarett Cascino and Ben Davis of Wis.-Green Bay.
These championships conclude the fall season for the Marquette men. The next time MU will be in competition will be at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, January 7-12, on the Marquette campus.
