Mitchell Among Featured Coaches at Nike Clinic

One of only two women's coaches to present

MILWAUKEE -- Head women's basketball coach Terri Mitchell will be part of a spectacular lineup of coaches presenting at the 2004 Fall Nike Championship Basketball Coaching Clinic, in Chicago, Ill.

Mitchell will be presenting today (Oct. 1) to the clinic's attendees. She joins Geno Auriemma of Connecticut as one of two women's coaches on the presenting panel. She will be followed by Maryland's Gary Williams and Arizona's Lute Olson. She will be speaking on defense.

"This is a great opportunity. It's a wonderful honor to be speaking alongside such coaches. It shows the respect for our program's tradition," Mitchell said. "Defense has been a strength of our program for the last eight years, and I look forward to showcasing the principles that we believe in."

Mitchell will also be amongst the key speakers at the Minnesota State Coaches Association Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 2.
