Volker Selected to Compete in 2026 Celsius Women’s 3-Point Championship

Volker will be the sixth Golden Eagle to feature in the women's 3-point contest.
MILWAUKEE – Wrapping up her collegiate career earlier this month, Marquette University's Lee Volker will don the blue and gold one more time after she was selected to participate in the Celsius Women's 3-Point Championship as part of 37th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on April 3. The event will be broadcast nationally on ESPN on April 5 at Noon ET.
Volker concluded her Golden Eagle career (2024-26) as the No. 2-ranked 3-point shooter all-time at 40.1%. The Purceville, Va., native finished 1.5% back of Karissa McLaughlin's program record. Volker scored 873 points during her three seasons in Milwaukee, finishing with 986 in her collegiate career. 102 of Volker's 108 career 3-pointers came during the past two seasons with a career-high 58 coming this past season. The 6-foot-1 guard shot a career-best 42.3% from deep this year which ranked 17th in the country and second in the BIG EAST.
Volker will be the sixth Golden Eagle to compete in the Women's 3-Point Championship, joining Lori Goerlitz (1995), Nicki Taggart (1998), Tatiyiana McMorris (2011), Natisha Heideman (2019) and Karissa McLaughlin (2022).
The State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships invites a collection of the nation's elite men's and women's college basketball players to compete for slam dunk and 3-point shooting bragging rights. The night features the yearly Slam Dunk Championship, the E*TRADE Men's 3-Point Championship, the Celsius Women's 3-Point Championship and the team shootout. The winners of the Men's and Women's 3-Point Championships will then compete in the Skechers Battle of the Champions.
It will be the seventh time Indianapolis has played host to the event, and the third time the annual competition will take place at Hinkle Fieldhouse, the home of the Butler Bulldogs.
Participants in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships have included some of basketball's greats and legendary lottery picks, including Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Cappie Pondexter and Odyssey Sims, to unforgettable tournament superstars from recent history like Kris Jenkins, Jack Gohlke, Dyaisha Fair and Ariel Atkins.
