Senior earns second consecutive nod on the league's preseason team.
NEW YORK – Marquette University's Halle Vice was selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team, the conference office announced Thursday morning. It is the second consecutive season that the senior was tabbed to the preseason team.
Vice enters her senior season after leading the BIG EAST in both rebounding (8.9 rpg) and double-doubles (11) a season ago, earning a spot on the 2026 All-BIG EAST Team. During the season, she put together a stretch of four-straight double-doubles, the longest run of consecutive double-doubles by a Golden Eagle since 2019.
The Bettendorf, Iowa product ranks third among the league's returning scorers, averaging 13.7 per game in 2025-26. Vice also ranked 26th nationally, and second in the conference, in field-goal percentage at 55.2% (174-of-315). Aiding in her efficiency was a jump in her outside shooting as she shot 39.6% from 3 (21-of-53), a 12.1% increase from 2024-25.
Vice posted six games with 20 or more points, one 32-point outing against Villanova, and reached double figures 20 times.
The senior has started 62 consecutive games for the Golden Eagles.
