Marquette Track and Field Heads To Panther Classic

The Marquette men?s and women?s track and field teams are set to participate in the Panther Classic in Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles are coming off of a solid performance at the Notre Dame Quadrangular that saw sophomore Michaela Courtney break the school record in the indoor Mile with a time of 4:49.81. Courtney will look to improve that time that is currently the best time in Conference USA this season.

Saturday?s meet will take place at the University of Northern Iowa?s UNI- Dome. The meet will not be team scored but will include cross-town rival Wis.- Milwaukee, Iowa State, Northern Iowa and the Wisconsin men?s team. The field events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and the running events are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
