Marquette Picked 10th in BIG EAST Coaches Poll

The Golden Eagles were selected 10th in the annual preseason poll of the BIG EAST's 16 head coaches on Thursday, Oct. 27. The poll was released as a part of the conference's media day, held at the Times Square ESPN Zone in New York City.

Rutgers was picked atop the league, earning 11 first-place votes. Connecticut, which earned five votes for first, was second, followed by Notre Dame in third.
It marked the first time in 12 years that a team other than Connecticut was selected as the preseason favorite.
