Kieger Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Against UWM, the Roseville, Minn. native tied her season-high, scoring 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe. Eleven of her 16 came in the second half, as Marquette erased a 10-point deficit and built as much as a 10-point advantage. She also added four rebounds, seven assists and a season-best five steals in 36 minutes of play.
Kieger currently ranks third on the Golden Eagles in scoring (10.9) and ranks atop the BIG EAST in assists, averaging 6.2 per game. She is also fifth in the league in steals, a 2.2 per game.
Marquette returns to action on Wednesday, when they host South Dakota State at 7 p.m. Fans who bring a canned food item will receive $2.00 admission to the game, with all food donations will be given to Marquette?s Campus Kitchen.
The Campus Kitchen delivers meals to community service agencies in Milwaukee, and helps feed hundreds of individuals each week. In addition, the game will also celebrate Archdiocese Day. Students who attend any Archdiocese school will receive $1.00 admission with this coupon.
