The Marquette women's basketball returns to action tomorrow night after an eight-day hiatus when they host Rice at the Al McGuire Center.
The Golden Eagles will look to extend their win streak to eight games as they host the Owls in a non-conference matchup. Tipoff time is set for 7 p.m.
Last time out, MU used a 7-0 run late in the second half to down South Dakota State, 67-55, on Dec. 21. Christina Quaye led the way with 20 points, while Jasmine McCullough added 17 points. For her efforts, Quaye was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll - her second such honor this season and the third consecutive week a Marquette player earned a conference accolade. Carolyn Kieger was named to the league's weekly honor roll on Dec. 19.
An NCAA Tournament team a year ago, Rice has compiled a 4-5 overall record so far this season. Head coach Greg Williams' team is led offensively by Lauren Reaves, who is averaging 13.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest this season. Krystal Frasier is scoring 11.9 points per game as well.
This game also features a very special Family Four Pack offer. With the Family Four Pack you get: 4 game tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas for only $16.00 - a package valued at $41! You can get your Family Four Pack today by calling 414-288-GOMU or stop by the Al McGuire Ticket Office.
