Women' Tennis Downed By Xavier

Dominika Dabrowski and Erin Watkins were able to come away with a win at No. 3 doubles, defeating the Musketeer?s duo of Kate Lohner and Jackie Vilines, 8-3.
After losing the doubles point, the Golden Eagles focused on singles play, where they were only able to come away with victories at No. 4 and No. 5.
Coach Jody Bronson was pleased with the play of Dabrowski. ?Dominika had a solid win at No. 5 singles,? she said.
Elsemieke Dokter persevered through three sets to take the match from Xavier?s Vilines, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
The Golden Eagles will return to play a week from today, when they face Illinois State at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium at 10 a.m.
