Tulsa, Ok. - Trent Hagan was unable to capture a victory in the third round of pre-qualifying at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships today in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Despite winning the first set, Hagan lacked the intensity needed to take down Memphis' Benedikt Fisher losing, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
"Trent played a very long, tough match today," said head coach Steve Rodecap. "Overall, I was pleased with our play at this tournament. We will continue to use the fall to work on technique and raise our level of play."
The Marquette tandem of Brett Binkley and Mark Rutherford will play in the doubles tournament on Tuesday. The duo will face TCU's Radu Barbu and Cosmin Cotet.
"Brett and Mark are a really good doubles team," Rodecap said. "They haven't lost a match yet this fall. TCU will be a good competition for them."
