MU is coming off a weekend in which it split two BIG EAST matches to start the second half of the conference season. Over the weekend, the Golden Eagles were led by junior Monica Renfrow, who recorded her second triple-double (10 K, 51 A, 14 D) of the season against the Panthers, and came within one kill of her third (9 K, 43 A, 12 D) against the Mountaineers. She recorded a 44.7 hitting percentage over the two-game span, leading the squad with 94 assists while ranking second with 3.25 D/G en route to being named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll.
In addition to Renfrow, senior Jamie Mueller continued her skillful place at the outside hitter position, recording her 17th and 18th double-doubles of the year with 19 kills and 14 digs vs. Pittsburgh, and 20 kills and 13 digs vs. West Virginia. She continues to rank amongst the BIG EAST's leaders in digs per game (4.93 - 4th) and kills per game (3.96 - 9th).
Also registering a big match for MU against UP was freshman Leslie Bielski. The outside hitter tallied a career-high 13 kills and now ranks third on the team with 2.15 K/G.
Aiming to knock off Marquette at home will be Wis.-Green Bay.
