AL McGUIRE CENTER - This week's player spotlight is on sophomore guard Krystal Ellis. A BIG EAST All-Rookie Team selection for the 2005-06 season, Ellis has picked up right where she left off last season. Ellis leads the team with 16.4 points per game and 3.5 assists per game. She has already tallied two games of 20 or more points including a season high 26 points at Rice. She added a career best six steals against the Owls. Ellis was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of Dec. 4, and was named to the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam All-Tournament Team.

Do you have any pre-game superstitions? Sleeping because I always need sleep to be ready for the game.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of basketball? Hang out with family, friends and teammates.
If you could play another sport, what would it be and why? Volleyball because I played it in high school and that was my second best sport.
Who do you look up to and why? My mom, because she is an independent woman who loves her kids and would do anything for us.
What is your dream job? Anything that makes me rich
