Indoor Track & Field Teams Compete at Badger Classic

The men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at the Badger Classic at the University of Wisconsin on Jan. 13-14.
On the men's side, Brent Des Roches and Jeremy Williams finished 1-2 in the mile. Des Roches clocked 4:18.71, while Williams crossed the line in 4:27.04. Kyle Saginus (8:43.44) also captured the 3,000m run, followed by teammates Kurt Keuter in third and Scott Allen in fourth. Jed Burey placed second in the 800m (1:56.80) and Loren Wagner finished fourth in the 400m (52.05).
Raymond Bratchett was second in the high jump (2.03m), while Zach Pawlowski was third in the pole vault (4.45m). Michael Bodecker's heave of 15.84m was good for second in the weight throw.

On the women's side, the Golden Eagles captured individual honors. Michaela Courtney cruised to a victory in the 3,000m run, clocking 9:43.59. Cassie Peller won the mile in a time of 5:00.83, while Kristina Malin captured the 400m run in a time of 59 seconds. Emily Leklem was second in the shot put (13.59m), while Jessica Ehlen was third in the weight throw (16.35m).
