		Paul McInerny, Ph.D. Chief Athletics Advancement Officer 414-288-0289 paul.mcinerny@marquette.edu Paul McInerny is in his second year as Chief Athletics Advancement Officer at Marquette University. McInerny is responsible for major gifts, endowments, fund raising and special projects for intercollegiate athletics. He joined Marquette from Dominican High School, where he served as president since 1995. An alumnus of Marquette University, McInerny earned two degrees from the school; a bachelor of arts in 1972 and a Ph.D. in Foundations of Education in 1989. Following a successful two-year journalism career in North Dakota, he returned to his alma mater in 1976 as an administrator in the university's office of public affairs. For the next 19 years, McInerny served the university in various administrative capacities including Director of Media Relations and Publications and Senior Advancement Officer. In 1995, he joined Dominican High School as its chief administrator responsible for the overall direction of the school's strategic planning, marketing, fund raising, community outreach, financial management and mission. Particularly familiar with the department of athletics, McInerny was a member of Marquette's men's soccer program in 1969 and 1970. He is a member of the Marquette University Alumni Association national board, served on the M Club board of directors from 1985 to 1999, and received the club's Hy Popuch Award in 1996 for his service to intercollegiate athletics.

		Zachary Goines Director, Blue & Gold Fund 414-288-0324 zachary.goines@marquette.edu Zach Goines is in his second year with the Marquette Athletics Department as Director of the Blue & Gold Fund. In his position, he oversees all fundraising efforts for the Blue & Gold Athletic Scholarship Fund and all day to day athletics development operations. Goines came to Marquette after spending three years working as the Assistant Director of Development for the University of Miami Athletics Department. While at Miami, he worked extensively on a variety of projects related to both the annual fund as well as the $63 million UExcellence Capital Campaign. Prior to working at Miami, Goines served an internship with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) in Cleveland, Ohio. A native of Kettering, Ohio, Zach received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Kentucky in May 1999 and his Master's of Science in Sports Administration from Indiana University in August of 2000.

		Joe True Assistant Director, Blue &Gold Fund 414-288-0253 joe.true@marquette.edu Joe True joined the Blue & Gold Fund in July 2005. He assists with the day to day operations of the Blue & Gold Fund, including the maintenance of the priority point system, maintenance of the Blue & Gold Fund web-site and plans donor related travel events to men's and women's basketball games. He oversees all athletic fundraising events, which include the Hank Raymonds Scholarship Auction & Raffle, Marquette Golf Club Invitational, Putt for the Eagles Golf Tournament, and M-Club Golf Outing. Prior to his arrival at Marquette, Joe was a graduate assistant in the athletic ticket office at Northern Illinois University and served as an operations intern with the American Junior GolfOrganization. He was a four year letter winner on the NIU golf team and was the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Council for two years. Joe received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from NIU and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Sports Management from NIU.

		Zach Hurst Development Associate 414-288-0293 Zach Hurst joined the Marquette Athletics Department in July 2006 as the Blue & Gold Fund Intern. He currently assists with the annual fund drive, oversees the online fundraising auction, and assists with the planning and management of donor travel and the management of point system and facilitation of the men's basketball reseating process. Hurst came to Marquette after serving as a graduate assistant for the University of Georgia Athletic Development Office where he was responsible for numerous assignments in game day operations, development, alumni relations and special events. A native of Boone, North Carolina, Zach earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Western Carolina University. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Education from the University of Georgia.

		Sarah Claus Executive Assistant/Special Events 414-288-3988 sarah.claus@marquette.edu Sarah Claus joined the Blue & Gold Fund staff in August 2004. After serving one year as the Blue & Gold Fund intern, she is now a full-time staff member providing administrative support to the Athletics Director as well the Blue & Gold Fund. In addition, she coordinates a variety of special events as they pertain to intercollegiate athletics. Before Marquette, Sarah began her career in college athletics while attending the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She worked for two years in the compliance office as well as spending five years working as a hostess in the sky suites at Nebraska football games. Sarah also spent three years with the independent professional baseball team, Lincoln Saltdogs, assisting in merchandising, promotions, ticket sales and office operations. A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Sarah earned her Bachelor of Journalism degree in Advertising from UNL.
