IOWA CITY - The Golden Eagles track & field team competed at the 2006 Iowa Musco Twilight meet, at the University of Iowa.
Brent Des Roches earned an NCAA regional qualifier in the 3,000m steeplechase, winning the event in 9:04.65. Teammate David Henderson was third in 9:25.11. Jeremy Williams finished fourth in the 1,500m run, in a time of 3:58.19. Loren Wagner was fifth in the 400 hurdles, in a time of 55.50.
Damian Anisko was fourth in the hammer throw, with a toss of 178'3" (54.34m). Tom Sage was fourth in the javelin, with a throw of 140'5" (42.80m). The Golden Eagles 4x100m relay team was fourth in a time of 41.85, while they were fifth in the 4x400m relay (3:16.86).

On the women's side, Michaela Courtney won the 3,000m run in a time of 9:27.33. Terri Emond won her section of the 1,500m run (4:45.77), en route to placing ninth overall. Kaitlyn Chambers (4:41.23) and Tara Hinke (4:41.59) were sixth and seventh, respectively.
Christina Flowers (12.70) and Sharon Fritz (13.11) went 3-4 in the 100m dash. Lauren Chmielewski was fourth in the 400m hurdles, crossing the line in 1:05.21.
Kristin Stoniecki was fifth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 11'1 3/4" (3.40m). Jenna Mahaffey placed fifth in the shot put, with a toss of 44'2" (13.46m), while finishing fourth in the discus throw, with a heave of 141'3" (43.06m). Audra Ketelsen was fifth in the discus (139'9"/42.59m). Jessica Ehlen placed third in the hammer throw, with a heave of 174'6" (53.18m).
