Mallams Named to Soccer Buzz' Elite Team of the Week

MILWAUKEE -- Junior forward Allison Mallams was named to Soccer Buzz' Elite Team of the Week, it was announced by the magazine.

Last week, Mallams made her Marquette debut with a two-goal performance in a 3-0 victory over Bowling Green at home on Aug. 25. She followed it up with a two-goal, three-assist match in a 9-0 win over Sacred Heart on Aug. 27.

Earlier in the week, Mallams was also recognized by the BIG EAST Conference as part of its weekly honor roll. She leads Marquette and is tied for first in the league with 11 points.

The Golden Eagles return to action tomorrow night, when they travel to Des Moines, Ia. to face Drake. Kickoff time is set for 5 p.m.
