2007: Despite missing 11 games due to injury, Mallams still managed to score five goals in nine games while leading the team with 25 shots on goal, and earned Second Team All-BIG EAST accolades for her efforts. The talented striker went on a late-season terror, scoring five goals in the last six games of the season including two against Louisville (Oct. 19) and the game winner against Pittsburgh (Oct. 26). Scored all three Marquette goals on a weekend road swing at Louisville (Oct. 19) and at Cincinnati (Oct. 21) while receiving BIG EAST Honor Roll accolades for her efforts. Mallams[apos] 12 shots against Cincinnati are a Marquette single-game record. Her two goals against Louisville marked Mallam[apos]s third multi-goal game of her career. Also named to BIG EAST honor roll the following week for goals against Pittsburgh (Oct. 26) and West Virginia (Oct. 28). Her strike against Pittsburgh proved to be the game winner for the Golden Eagles. Tallied at least one goal in four consecutive BIG EAST matches against Louisville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia. She finished the season as a Second Team All-BIG EAST selection for the second consecutive year. Selected as member of the NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region Second Team.
2006: Mallams, a Second Team All-BIG EAST selection, made a big impact her first season actively donning the blue and gold leading the team in goals and points ... Her effort was recognized regionally as she was named NSCAA All-Great Lakes First Team and to the SoccerBuzz All-Great Lakes First Team following the the season ... Mallams currently holds the eighth best single season points mark with 24 on eight goals and eight assists ... 11 of her 24 points were scored in the Golden Eagles opening weekend where she recorded two goals against Bowling Green and added two goals and three assists in a 9-0 win over Sacred Heart. After those wins, Mallams earned her first selection to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week ... She ranks in the top-10 of the BIG EAST in four offensive categories; game-winning goals (five, tie-second) points (23, seventh), goals (eight, tie-eighth) and shots (2.65 per game, 10th) ... One of Mallams[apos] golden goals came in double overtime to help Marquette defeat then no. 12 Connecticut, 1-0 ... She was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week and to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week following that performance.
2005: Mallams did not play in 2005, sitting out per NCAA transfer rules.
At William Jewell (Freshman/Sophomore, 2003-04): Mallums scored 41 goals and added 26 assists in 22 matches in her sophomore season at William Jewell. She led the team to a 16-3-1 record. She earned NAIA honorable mention All-America status. She had a season best four goals and four assists against Avila University and led the team to the NAIA national tournament.
Prior to Marquette: Mallums earned four letters in soccer at Liberty High School. She was a first-team all-conference, all-district and all-state performer, leading her team to conference and district titles.
Personal: Mallams is the daughter of R.D. and Deanna Mallams. She has four siblings. Her sister Andrea played soccer at DePauw. She is majoring in communication studies and elementary education.
