MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Marquette men's tennis team will send three players to the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships hosted by the University of Tulsa this weekend. Brett Binkley, Trent Hagan and Mark Rutherford will join the 128 player field, who will try and qualify for the main draw which takes place Oct. 6-9.
"All American is a great opportunity for the three guys to compete at a national event and give them exposure to that level," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "The guys are excited to play against some of the best players in the country and are looking to prove themselves at a high level."
After two fall tournaments Binkley is 1-4. Hagan has a 4-2 fall record, while freshman Rutherford holds an impressive 4-1 record.
