Milwaukee - The Marquette University men's soccer team wraps up a three-match homestand Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when the squad entertains Drake at Valley Fields in non-conference action.
The Golden Eagles (2-6-1) will look to put back-to-back victories together for the first time in 2007. MU defeated Cincinnati 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to secure the team's first BIG EAST victory of the campaign. Sophomore Nick Kay netted both of the scores and as a result was tabbed to the BIG EAST Honor Roll.
Drake (3-2-0) makes a trip to Milwaukee for the second time in three years. Marquette owns a 5-0-1 advantage in the all-time series, including a 1-0 victory in 2005. The Bulldogs have already defeated fellow instate programs Wisconsin (2-1) and UW-Milwaukee (2-1).
"Drake has been playing well of late and has some quality results," head coach Louis Bennett said. "It will be a very good test for us."
