Van Sickle Leads Mission Inn Collegiate Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. - Sophomore Mike Van Sickle continued his hot streak as he leads the Mission Inn Collegiate Invitational through two of three rounds. He shot a 138 and leads Bryan Haase of Eastern Michigan and Drew Younts of UNC Greensboro by one stroke.
Van Sickle has won the last two tournaments in which he's competed. If he wins one more event, he would set the MU school record for wins in a season. He's currently tied for that record at two with Tom Uutala.
The Golden Eagles are in third place, tied with Eastern Michigan at 581. Louisville leads the tournament at 567. UNC Greensboro is in second at 580.
Junior Ted Gray is in 20th place at two-over, 146. Sophomore Dustin Schwab is in a tie for 40th at six-over, 150. Junior Michael Bielawski is in 46th at seven-over, 151. Freshman Ben Sieg rounds out the MU roster at nine-over, 153, and is in third place.
Final round play begins tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. EDT.
