Williams Featured Speaker At Coaches Clinic At UW-Platteville

Marquette University head men's basketball coach Buzz Williams made a trip to Southwestern Wisconsin Sunday morning to participate in a coach's clinic at UW-Platteville.
Williams was the opening speaker for the day's activities, which also including University of Detroit head coach Ray McCallum and legendary former Princeton coach Pete Carril. McCallum is a former head coach at Ball State and Carril was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1997.
Williams hosted a pair of sessions on developing guards and bigs, focusing on hand and feet development and hand-eye coordination. UWP head coach Paul Combs opened the morning with an introduction of Williams, who was making his first trip to the campus of the storied NCAA Division III program whose history includes four national championships in men's basketball.
