Track and Field Begins 2009 At The Laker Early Bird

MILWAUKEE -- The Marquette University Track and Field squads return to indoor action Friday at the Laker Early Bird in Allendale, Mich.

"It will be good to start the indoor season up again," said head coach Bert Rogers. "I am looking forward to see where we are at in terms of our training."

Friday's events kick off competition at 11 a.m. ET with the start of the women's pentathlon and will continue throughout the day until the final running event is completed around 9 p.m. The meet is being held on the campus of Grand Valley State University at the Laker Turf Building.
