KEY STORYLINES
Marquette has a one-point lead on Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Conference Blue Division standings. The Pirates, who coming into Saturday's match in seventh place, will be looking to snap a four-match losing streak that dates back to Sept. 25. Meanwhile MU hopes to halt its current two-game skid. The Golden Eagles are also looking for their first ever win in South Orange, N.J., having come up short in two previous chances. MU also welcomes back midfielders Anthony Colaizzi and Calum Mallace, who had to sit in the team's 2-0 loss to Notre Dame due to yellow cards from previous matches.
SERIES HISTORY
Seton Hall leads the all-time series 3-0-1. Marquette's lone result versus the Pirates was a 1-1 draw at Valley Fields last season. MU's last trip to Seton Hall resulted in a 5-1 loss for the Golden Eagles back in 2007. These two teams met for the first time during the 2005 season.
