Men's Basketball Squad Meets The Media Wednesday Afternoon

The Marquette University men's basketball team hosted its annual media day Wednesday afternoon at the Al McGuire Center, welcoming nearly 50 members of the local and regional media outlets to campus.

Head coach Buzz Williams opened with a brief Q&A, which was followed by the team photo and one-on-one interviews with the players and staff. The Golden Eagles featured the "Gold" uniforms in the photo for the first-time ever and the afternoon marked the debut of the new Jordan Brand shorts and jerseys.

The 2009-10 squad will meet the fans for the first time Friday night at Marquette Madness. The doors open at 5 p.m. in advance of a 6 p.m. volleyball match. GoMarquette.com will feature a live stream of the event for those unable to attend in person, courtesy once again of MUTV.
