[11:17 a.m.] GoMarquette.com will be debuting a live in-game blog for Friday's home opener against Centenary. We have registered with CoveritLive to provide this unique courtside perspective at all home men's basketball games for the 2009-10 season.

For the first time ever, fans can follow live game commentary and will have the option to participate in the discussion. This interactive tool will give readers a first-person point-of-view, while providing insight one could only get by being at the Bradley Center.
Fans are invited to post comments to the in-game blog and will be asked to participate by asking questions, voting on "Quick Polls," or simply engaging in the conversation.
Don't think of the in-game blog as a running play-by-play of the action -- that's why we still offer GameTracker, a real-time scoreboard that includes live statistics.
While we will sometimes post the score or various stats on the in-game blog, the platform is meant more to capture casual observations by the blogger and fans who choose to partake.
In-game blogging will typically begin an hour before tip-off.
In addition to commentary, we will also occasionally post photos and video of the action behind the scenes, in the stands and on the court. All of this exclusive content will also be available throughout game day on Twitter (www.Twitter.com/muathletics) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/gomarquette) as well as links to the postgame highlight video, podcasts and much more.
