Marquette Hosts Alcorn State Monday

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's basketball team is back in action Monday, Nov. 15, as it takes on Alcorn State at the Al McGuire Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and a live stream of the game can be seen live on MUTube, GoMarquette.com's multimedia platform.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a 88-46 season-opening victory against Akransas-Pine Bluff Saturday night at the Al McGuire Center. Paige Fiedorowicz and Katherine Plouffe led the way combining for 39 points while making 16-of-19 shots from the floor.
Alcorn State comes to Milwaukee following a 88-43 defeat at Michigan Friday night. Carolinsia Crumbly was Alcorn State's leading scorer with 12 points off the bench.
Alcorn State finished the 2009-10 season, 8-20 overall and seventh in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play with an 8-10 record.
