Golden Eagles Host Monmouth Sunday at 2 p.m.

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's basketball team is back in action at the Al McGuire Center Sunday afternoon against Monmouth. The 2 p.m. tip-off can be seen live on GoMarquette.com's multimedia platform, MUTube, with Kent Sommerfeld and Kyle Dlabay calling the action.
In its last time out, Marquette used an 18-2 second-half rally to defeat Michigan, 63-49, Friday night at the Al McGuire Center. Angel Robinson registered her first double-double of the season with 15 points and a career-high 11 assists in the win.
The Golden Eagles will look to extend their three-game win streak against the Hawks who are 1-1 overall entering Sunday's game. Monmouth lost its season opener at Maryland, 73-40, but bounced back to defeat St. Peters, 74-50, on Thursday.
Alysha Womack leads the Hawks with 17 points per game, while Abby Martin follows with 10.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
The Golden Eagles are 1-0 all-time against Monmouth. The two teams last met on Dec. 27, 1991 with Marquette claiming a 101-56 win.
